What is Cricket Connects?

Cricket Connects aims to provide more more people with more quality opportunities, to be more involved, more often.

Cricket Connects encourages, supports, and mentors participants to undertake volunteering and coaching roles as Cricket Connects Champions within the programme and their immediate and wider community. Our Cricket Connects Officers deliver Activator Training to support Activators to deliver cricket activities in their communities along with community-based Cricket Connects programmes.

Cricket Connects Training

Cricket Connects offers a bespoke training programme of communication, awareness, and leadership skills that can be used to deliver person-centred cricket coaching to local community groups and clubs. All Cricket Connects Champions are subject to Garda Vetting once they register to complete the programme. Training modules include; Leadership; Multicultural Awareness; Activator Training; Disability Inclusion; Introduction to Umpiring and Scoring, and; Safeguarding.
